• 3+yearsofreliabilityengineeringexperienceinafast-pacedCPGManufacturingsetting.

• Experiencecreatinganddraftingtechnicaldocumentsandreports.

PositionSummary:

Responsibleforimprovingprocesseswithinthemanufacturingplant,collaboratingwithmaintenanceandautomationteamstotroubleshootanyissuesthatarise.Thisrolerequiresanindividualwhoishighlyeffectiveatproblem-solvingandtroubleshooting,astheywillserveasthehighestlevelofin-housesupport.Thepositionalsoemphasizesteamworkandcross-functionalcollaboration.

KeyResponsibilities:

• ProcessEfficiencyDesign:Designmethodstomaintainorincreaseprocessefficienciesinthefiller/packagingdepartments,focusingonimprovingproductioncosts,yields,quality,andsafety.
• EngineeringDesign:Prepareconceptualengineeringdesignsandfloorplansforfiller/packagingequipment.
• ContinuousImprovement:UtilizeContinuousImprovementtoolstotroubleshootproblemsandidentifysolutionsthatreducedowntimeandconservecosts.
• ProjectTeamExpertise:Serveasanengineeringsubjectmatterexpertonlocalprojectteams.
• LayoutPlanning:Determinethelayoutofpiping,equipment,andutilitiesforengineeringchanges.
• Research&Trials:Researchengineeringtopics,preparestudies,andconducttrialswithproductionteams.
• CapitalProjects:Assistwiththetransitionofcapitalprojectstotheproductionplantteam.
• Adaptability:Stayopen-mindedandadaptabletomoderntechnologiesandprocesses.
• Documentation:Developandmaintaindocumentationinsupportoffiller/packagingchanges(ProcessDescription,Scope,ProcessDrawings,etc.).
• VendorManagement:Assessvendorsforcompetence,capabilities,resources,andfinancialstatus;reviewandnegotiatebiddocuments.
• ProjectDevelopment:Directthedevelopmentofactionplans,includingestimatesforresourcemanagement,labor,materials,andtimerequiredtocompleteprojects.
• ProjectAccountability:Accountableforprojectdevelopmentandexecution,includingbudget,schedule,andperformance.
• Reporting:Preparemonthlyreportsdetailingprogressandcostsfortopmanagement.
• SafetyandCompliance:FollowsafetyproceduresandGoodManufacturingPractices(GMP).
