Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all equipment and systems, while leading a team of maintenance professionals. This role requires strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, and proficiency in managing various maintenance technologies.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
- Supervise a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Manage HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and optimizing equipment functionality.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate effective repairs and installations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Lead project management efforts for facility upgrades or new installations, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory management, and equipment history.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance with a focus on mechanical knowledge.
- Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their operational requirements.
- Experience with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
