The HR Coordinator supports daily human resources operations in a food manufacturing environment, assisting with onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training coordination, and HR administration while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Job Title: HR Coordinator
Location: Gardena, CA
Schedule: Day shift; 8am – 5pm
Compensation: $23-28/hr.
Responsibilities
- 2+ years of HR or administrative experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and employee records
- Support recruiting, interview scheduling, and new hire processing
- Maintain HRIS, timekeeping, and personnel documentation
- Assist with employee relations, attendance, and leave tracking
- Coordinate training (GMP, food safety, safety, compliance)
- Support HR compliance and audit documentation (OSHA, FDA, FSMA)
- Experience supporting hourly workforces
- Strong organization, communication, and confidentiality skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
