Salary Range: $72,500 - $90,625 per year

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

HR Business Partner (Night Shift) will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues; successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Consult with supervisors/management, provide HR guidance when appropriate. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective and objective investigations
  • Recruit exempt and non-exempt employees to ensure best candidates possible are selected. Manage and coordinate Foster Farms, enterprise-wide, college recruiting programs
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies

Additional Functions:
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
  • Additional projects as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge of performance management, employee relations, safety practices, talent acquisition, and compensation strategy, with the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law
  • Change agent with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive continuous improvement and results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience utilizing HRMS
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
  • Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
  • Must have a valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must have consistent and reliable attendance
