Company Introduction

Food industry importer and distributor specializing in organic and natural ingredients, including spices, extracts, botanical oils, oleoresins, coconut-based ingredients (desiccated, flour, sugar, oils, coconut milk powder), gum acacia.

We supply food manufacturers, co-packers, flavor houses, and distributors across North America with high-quality ingredients supported by strong relationships with vertically integrated producers.

We are expanding our B2B customer base and seeking a driven sales professional who can grow revenue, build relationships, and represent our quality-first ingredient portfolio.

Position Overview

The B2B Ingredients Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying new manufacturing customers, managing existing accounts, and driving sales of bulk food ingredients.

This role requires someone who is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable selling into B2B environments such as food/beverage companies, nutraceutical manufacturers, spice blenders, contract manufacturers, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development

  • Identify, research, and qualify new B2B ingredient buyers across the food, beverage, nutraceutical, and personal care sectors.

  • Prospect via email, LinkedIn outreach, industry lists, and trade platforms.

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.

Account Management

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.

  • Provide quotes, samples, COAs, and product specifications.

  • Coordinate with operations/logistics teams for deliveries, inventory, and documentation.

  • Manage pricing, margins, and negotiated contracts.

  • Product & Market Knowledge

  • Track market trends, pricing, and competitor activity.

  • Sales Reporting

  • Maintain CRM records and weekly sales reports.

  • Forecast demand and contribute to inventory planning.

Qualifications

  • 3 5+ years of experience in B2B ingredient sales, food manufacturing supply, flavor/fragrance, nutraceutical, or commodity trading.

  • Strong network of buyers within food manufacturing is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.

  • Understanding of supply chain, COAs, organic certification, and documentation preferred.

  • Comfortable with remote work and self-management.
