Position :- Logistics Specialist

Location :- Santa Ana, CA, 92707 - Hybrid role

Duration :- 12+ Months of Contract + Extension possible based on performance

Shift - Normal Business hours Monday to Friday - 4 days onsite and 1 days Remote

Summary:

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team. This role is pivotal in managing the logistics cycle for customer orders and ensuring seamless operations across our network. You will collaborate with internal teams, 3PL partners, and clients to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers, company entities, and customer clients.
  • Develop and manage daily/weekly/monthly reports and KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Generate and distribute departmental reports to stakeholders across the supply chain.
  • Provide timely updates on order status to internal business units.
  • Monitor shipping and in-transit status using SAP; run daily Open Order and Goods Issued reports.
  • Investigate and resolve warehouse and carrier shipping discrepancies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support team projects and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and project management tasks as needed.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred, or 3+ years of experience in 3PL warehousing, transportation, and order/account management.
  • Proficient in SAP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to support weekend, holiday, and overtime requirements as needed.
  • Ability to travel as required.


Additional Responsibilities
  • Review and approve production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables.
  • Coordinate with department supervisors and vendors to assess progress and resolve issues.
  • Revise schedules due to design changes, material shortages, or other disruptions.
  • Distribute work orders and schedules to relevant departments.
  • Address customer complaints and shipping delays through effective coordination.
