As a Project Manager II, you are responsible for managing a project of moderate visibility and complexity. This role can be leveraged in a Control Account Manager capacity on a larger program with many deliverables or be inward facing or assigned to a more complex internal program.
Under the general supervision of either a portfolio manager or a program manager, this position oversees multiple projects or one larger project.
You are responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project.
The position may communicate with a senior project manager, functional area manager, or program manager regarding the status of specific projects.
You will develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables; identify needed resources for projects; and interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle:
planning, scope, definition, design, execution, delivery, and project closeout.
You will track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepare reports to stakeholders.
The Project Manager will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent.
Skills - Must Have:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project
management software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in developing and maintaining
schedules
Capable of managing team objectives through
scheduling tools and techniques

Experience with managing change on a complex
project or larger program
Ability to manage complex situations, delegate
authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill
collaboration, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt
to dynamic situations
Ability to perform task coordination, resource
development, stakeholder identification, etc.
Capability to manage program lifecycle conflicts,
prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources
Ability to work across multiple software systems,
comprehension of system relationships, and utilization of self-service
analytics as it relates to cost, schedule, risk, resource, and change
management disciplines
Skills - Preferred:
- Experience managing project scope and scope creep
during project execution
Experience in resource planning and management
during project execution
Understanding of Software Development or Product
Management Lifecyle of Engineering tools and data architectures,
preferably Dassault 3DExperience
Education - Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project
Management, Management, Engineering or related field
Education - Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Certification
Advanced degree in Business, Management,
Engineering or related field
