CONFIDENTIAL OPPORTUNITY
Financial Director - Victorville, CA
Food & Beverage Manufacturing|$135,000 - $150,000
An established food manufacturer is ready to bring in a finance leader who's a true partner to the plant floor, not just the ledger. If you're as comfortable talking yield, scrap, and labor efficiency with an Operations Director as you are presenting cash flow projections to ownership, keep reading.
The Financial Director owns financial operations, planning, reporting, budgeting, accounting, and strategy, a seat at the leadership table, not a back-office function. You'll partner across Operations, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, HR, and Quality, and your analysis will drive real decisions on the floor and in the boardroom.
Why it's worth a conversation:
Real influence. You shape decisions across production, purchasing, sales, and HR, not just report on them after the fact.
Plant floor to boardroom. Few finance seats let you own both manufacturing cost accounting and long-range capital strategy. This one does.
A confidential process. Your identity and current employer are protected. Company name, comp, and location go to qualified candidates under NDA.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 in a leadership role, with a solid grounding in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting built in a manufacturing environment.
- A CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.
- Food manufacturing or CPG background, hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or NetSuite), and multi-site exposure set you apart.
- You've spent your career close to a plant floor, not just a spreadsheet, and you can hold your own in a room with ownership when the conversation turns to where the business is headed next.
This search is confidential. Reach out and we'll talk specifics off the record.
