Job Summary
Job Title: Corporate Controller
Pay Rate: $170-200k/yr. + Bonus (individual & company performance)
Location: Gardena, CA
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting within a multi-entity manufacturing environment. This role is a key partner to leadership, driving financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and scalable processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly close process and prepare financial statements
- Manage general ledger across multiple entities, including consolidations and intercompany activity
- Oversee inventory accounting and standard costing, including BOM, variance analysis, and WIP valuation
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Support ERP system implementations and process improvements
- Develop financial reports and analysis to support operations and leadership
- Partner with operations to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cost control
- Support audits and maintain reporting readiness
Requirements
- Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of accounting and finance experience
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment (food, beverage, CPG, or process manufacturing preferred)
- 3+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and financial consolidation
- Strong cost accounting experience (inventory, standard costing, variance analysis)
- Experience with ERP systems and implementations
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Preferred
- Experience in food or regulated manufacturing environments
- ERP system experience (manufacturing/inventory modules)
- Experience with acquisitions or financial system integration
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
